ES. Can you share the story behind its founding and your journey?

Ramesh Prakash Bolke. Roshni Electrical Works began its journey in 2002 with a simple but powerful vision: to provide reliable, innovative, and safe electrical solutions. Back then, we started with a small team, driven by a passion for excellence in electrical engineering. Our first few projects were modest, but our focus on quality workmanship, safety, and client satisfaction quickly set us apart. Over the years, we’ve grown into a trusted name in the industry, handling large-scale electrical infrastructure for events, industries, and government institutions across India. Our journey has been one of constant learning, adaptation, and commitment to raising industry standards.

ES. Can you explain the technical complexities involved and how your team addresses them?

Ramesh Prakash Bolke. High Tension (H.T.) and Low Tension (L.T.) systems each come with their own set of technical challenges. H.T. systems operate at high voltages, requiring specialized equipment and strict safety protocols to manage risk and ensure uninterrupted supply. L.T. systems, while operating at lower voltages, demand precision in load distribution, cabling, and protection systems to avoid failures. Our team comprises licensed professionals trained in both domains, and we follow rigorous safety audits, preventative maintenance schedules, and real-time monitoring to ensure system integrity. Our expertise allows us to quickly troubleshoot, reduce downtime, and optimize performance in both types of systems.

ES. Roshni Electrical Works has handled some of India’s most high-profile events like IPL, Sunburn Festival, and Make in India. Which project do you consider the most challenging and why?

Ramesh Prakash Bolke. Every project brings its own unique set of challenges, but the Make in India Week in Mumbai stands out as one of the most complex. It was a massive, multi-venue international event with a tight timeline and high security protocols. Coordinating the power infrastructure across exhibition halls, outdoor areas, media zones, and international pavilions required precision planning, real-time coordination with multiple stakeholders, and 24/7 on-ground support. The pressure was immense, but our team’s discipline and technical expertise helped us deliver without a single glitch, which was a proud moment for all of us.

ES. Can you walk us through the typical planning and execution process when providing electrical infrastructure for mega events

Ramesh Prakash Bolke. Our approach starts with a detailed site survey and client consultation to understand the event’s scale, layout, and power requirements. We then create a comprehensive electrical design plan, factoring in load calculations, safety margins, redundancy, and distribution logistics. Once approved, our team handles equipment mobilization, cabling, panel installations, and generator setups. We also deploy technical staff on-site for real-time monitoring, load balancing, and emergency response. Post-event, we manage a seamless dismantling process with full documentation and safety compliance. Our strength lies in meticulous planning, fast execution, and adaptability to changing ground realities.

ES. What is your long-term vision for Roshni Electrical Works in the next 5 years?

Ramesh Prakash Bolke. Over the next five years, our vision is to expand beyond traditional electrical contracting into smart energy solutions and sustainable infrastructure. Geographically, we aim to strengthen our presence across more Indian states and potentially enter select international markets. Diversification is also on the cards—we’re evaluating opportunities in data center power solutions and EV infrastructure. At the core of all this is our commitment to innovation, safety, and excellence that continues to define the Roshni Electrical Works brand.
