The Ministry of Ayush is set to play a pivotal role as a Partner Ministry at the inaugural Emerging Science, Technology, and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025, a landmark event scheduled from November 3 to 5, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. With the theme “Imagine. Innovate. Inspire for Viksit Bharat 2047,” ESTIC 2025 is being organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the direction of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
The Ministry’s involvement demonstrates its dedication to fusing cutting-edge contemporary technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), biomedical engineering, and precision medicine with India’s wealth of traditional health knowledge, which includes Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and homoeopathy.
The Conclave is a celebration of India’s innovation ecosystem with the goal of co-creating a healthier and sustainable future, according to a recent Curtain Raiser press conference that was chaired by Smt. Alarmelmangai D, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ayush. Ministry representatives underlined that as contemporary healthcare evolves, Ayush systems’ preventive and comprehensive approach to wellbeing is becoming more widely acknowledged.
On November 4, 2025, the Ministry of Ayush will hold a special technical session on health and medical technologies. Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, and Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Secretary, Department of Health Research (DHR) and Director-General, ICMR, will co-chair this high-level meeting. In addition to a panel discussion on the smooth integration of traditional systems with contemporary biomedical technologies, the session will include presentations by distinguished experts such as Prof. Gagandeep Kang and Dr. Shiv Kumar Sarin.
Additionally, the Ministry intends to use the Ayush Grid initiative to highlight its innovative digital transformation efforts. Ayush Hospital Management Information System (A-HMIS), e-Learning Management System (e-LMS), workplace wellness Y-Break App, and worldwide outreach tools like the mYoga App (created in partnership with WHO) are all part of this extensive suite of digital platforms.
The Ayush pavilion and technical sessions at ESTIC 2025 will provide a nationwide stage for showcasing cutting-edge research models and integrative healthcare frameworks, highlighting India’s emerging leadership in fusing traditional wisdom with modern scientific rigor. Researchers, business executives, legislators, and young entrepreneurs will have a revolutionary opportunity to coordinate their efforts for an innovation-driven healthcare ecosystem at the Conclave.
