The UFI Asia-Pacific Conference 2026 successfully concluded in Bangkok, bringing together more than 260 industry leaders, organisers, venue operators, and association representatives from across Asia and beyond. Held on 5–6 March 2026, the conference was hosted by the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) at the prestigious Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC).
Recognised as one of the most significant annual gatherings for the exhibition industry in the region, the conference once again provided a powerful platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and industry collaboration. The programme featured an engaging line-up of speakers who addressed key forces shaping the future of the exhibition industry, including evolving global trade dynamics, supply chain transformation, technological innovation, and changing client expectations.
Alongside the conference sessions, strategic meetings of the UFI Associations Committee and the UFI Asia-Pacific Chapter were also held, allowing industry representatives to exchange insights and strengthen partnerships across the region.
The event received strong support from Thailand’s leadership, with opening remarks delivered by Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok; Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director General of the Department of International Trade Promotion; and Dr. Supawan Teerarat, President of TCEB.
Dr. Supawan Teerarat noted that hosting the conference aligns with TCEB’s mission to position Thailand as a global hub for exhibitions and international business events, highlighting the country’s world-class infrastructure and hospitality.
Meanwhile, Chris Skeith OBE, CEO and Managing Director of UFI, emphasised that the Asia-Pacific region remains one of the most dynamic exhibition markets globally and home to UFI’s largest membership base. He noted that bringing the community together in Bangkok reinforced the importance of collaboration, innovation, and cross-border partnerships in driving industry growth.
Looking ahead, the UFI European Conference will take place in Izmir, Türkiye, from 3–5 June 2026, while the UFI Asia-Pacific Conference 2027 is scheduled to be hosted in Bali, Indonesia.
