AAHAR 2026 Opens at Bharat Mandapam, Bringing Global Food & Hospitality Industry Together

The 40th edition of AAHAR – International Food & Hospitality Fair 2026 officially opens today at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, bringing together global leaders, innovators, and stakeholders from the food processing and hospitality sectors. The five-day exhibition, running from March 10-14, 2026, is organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry in association with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.

The landmark 40th edition of AAHAR 2026 is inaugurated by Union Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. The inauguration ceremony is also graced by Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan, highlighting the government’s strong focus on strengthening India’s food processing and hospitality ecosystem.

Recognized as one of Asia’s most influential B2B platforms for the food and hospitality industry, AAHAR 2026 features over 1,800 exhibitors, including 155 international participants from 17 countries, and is expected to welcome more than 100,000 business visitors during the exhibition. Spread across over 115,000 square metres of exhibition space, the event showcases innovations in food products, beverages, food processing technologies, packaging solutions, hospitality equipment, cold chain infrastructure, and global trade opportunities.

This year, Italy participates as the Partner Country, marking a significant step in strengthening India–EU collaboration in gourmet foods, food processing technology, and hospitality solutions. Several international country pavilions are set up by Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, and Thailand, while companies from Belgium, China, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam also participate in the exhibition.

AAHAR 2026 features curated pavilions including the APEDA Pavilion, MoFPI Pavilion, Foreign Participation Pavilion, ICMA Pavilion, and FIFI Pavilion, providing focused platforms for industry stakeholders to explore partnerships and business opportunities. Special events such as Hospitality Challenge and Culinary Art India 2026 also take place alongside the exhibition, highlighting culinary creativity and professional excellence.

Adding a digital dimension to the event, ITPO launches the AAHAR 2026 Official Mobile App, enabling visitors and exhibitors to explore the exhibitor directory, navigate interactive floor plans, schedule B2B meetings, and receive real-time notifications throughout the exhibition.

Over the past four decades, AAHAR plays a vital role in promoting India’s food processing sector, supporting MSMEs, and facilitating international trade partnerships. With its expanded scale, strong global participation, and focus on innovation, AAHAR 2026 continues to reinforce India’s position as a growing hub for the global food and hospitality industry.

Business visitors access the exhibition through multiple entry gates at Bharat Mandapam, with the event remaining open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM for visitors during the five-day show.
