Trendfairs GmbH, the highly focused organizer of major B2B exhibitions in the Interior, Lifestyle, and Technology sectors, today announced the completion of a planned leadership transfer. Christopher Boss will succeed Michael Rambach, the company’s founder, as Managing Director on January 1, 2026.

Christopher Boss brings almost two decades of exhibition sector experience to his new role. His previous experience includes ten years at Messe Karlsruhe and a decade in important leadership positions within the NürnbergMesse network. He most recently served as Executive Director of the international trade exhibition EUROGUSS and Managing Director of MedtecLIVE GmbH. Boss will continue to oversee EUROGUSS until the end of 2025 before dedicating himself entirely to trendfairs.

Dr. Maximilian Maier, Vice President of Strategy and Portfolio at NürnbergMesse, expressed great confidence in the selection. “Christopher Boss has been a driving force in NürnbergMesse’s management. His expertise and vision will ensure that trendfairs continues to grow dynamically while leveraging the synergies of the NürnbergMesse network,” Maier stated, underlining Boss’ strategic, forward-thinking approach.
Boss commented on the transition, emphasizing the company’s distinct culture: “trendfairs stands for innovation, agility, and close customer relationships.” I appreciate Michael Rambach and NürnbergMesse’s trust, and I look forward to guiding this excellent team into its next successful phase with renewed vigour.”

Trendfairs will continue to operate as an independent organizer of specialty trade fairs, with a focused team of 10, while benefiting from the Group’s broader support. In a related development, Marcel Mönkemöller will succeed Boss on the NürnbergMesse GmbH Supervisory Board.
