EXCON 2025, South Asia’s leading construction equipment exhibition, officially opened today at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the five-day event runs from 9–13 December 2025, bringing together over 1,250 exhibitors from India and around the world across an expansive 3,50,000 sq. meters of exhibition display area. The event is widely recognized as one of the top three construction equipment exhibitions globally.
EXCON 2025 is expected to attract over 1,00,000 business visitors, with participation from 25 countries and 7 dedicated country pavilions. The exhibition will also host 500+ B2B meetings, offering an unparalleled platform for industry networking, knowledge exchange, and strategic collaborations.
The 2025 edition of EXCON highlights the latest trends in construction and mining machinery, with a strong focus on technology adoption, mechanization, and sustainability. Exhibitors are showcasing innovative equipment solutions including IoT-enabled machinery, AI-driven systems, and green construction technologies. With dedicated country pavilions from France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, China, and the UK, EXCON underlines its international reach and collaborative approach to infrastructure development.
On its opening day, several industry leaders unveiled new products and solutions. Tata Motors introduced its range of heavy-duty commercial vehicles tailored for construction and mining applications, including its first all-electric tipper and a factory-fitted CNG tipper, emphasizing India’s shift toward cleaner and more efficient mobility solutions. Mahindra Construction Equipment launched the COMPAX mini compactor, a fuel-efficient machine designed for specialized road construction projects. Additionally, Kennametal India showcased advanced earth-cutting and wear-protection technologies aimed at enhancing machinery efficiency and durability in challenging conditions.
The exhibition also serves as a platform for live demonstrations, product launches, and B2B engagements, reflecting India’s growing infrastructure ambitions and the sector’s shift toward sustainability, efficiency, and innovation.
