The 7th Edition of the India Manufacturing Show (IMS 2025), recognized as India’s premier trade fair for the Aerospace, Defence, and General Engineering sectors, is set to occur from November 6–8, 2025, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru. With strong backing from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of MSME, and the Karnataka government, Laghu Udyog Bharati–Karnataka is organizing this significant event in collaboration with the IMS Foundation. IMS 2025’s primary goal is to strengthen India’s position as a global leader in manufacturing. It closely relates to the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative, which supports the Prime Minister’s goal of attaining substantial indigenization in the aerospace and defense sector.
IMS 2025 is the biggest edition to date, with both of the BIEC’s halls-which total more than 6,000 square meters-fully reserved. With more than 450 exhibitors, including 220 MSMEs, the show will highlight innovations in vital industries like electrical and electronics, automation and robotics, and aerospace and defense. With a projected attendance of 40,000 and 20,000 business visitors already registered, the event expects to have a major business impact. Leading Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) like BEL, HAL, BEML, ISRO, and DRDO, as well as significant private companies like L&T Defence and Bharat Forge, are among the high-level participants. By incorporating IMS 2025 into its Procurement and Marketing Scheme (PMS) for subsidies, the Ministry of MSME is actively assisting smaller enterprises. Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh will open the show in front of other distinguished Union Ministers.
The 2nd Edition of IMSCON 2025, a two-day international conference with the theme “Empowering India: The Future of Global Manufacturing,” is taking place concurrently with the exhibition. Over 1,000 delegates, including CEOs and policymakers, will attend the conference, which will feature eight technical sessions on important topics like India’s role in global value chains, AI and next-generation innovation, and digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0. Important vendor development sessions and B2B meetings between OEMs, DPSUs, and big businesses will also be facilitated by this platform.
