The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA), India’s leading industry body representing the events, entertainment, experiential marketing and MICE sectors, has announced its newly constituted Governing Body for the 2026–28 term. Deepak Choudhary has officially taken over as the President of the association, leading a team of experienced professionals who will guide EEMA through its next phase of growth and industry development.

The newly elected leadership team reflects EEMA’s commitment to strengthening collaboration across the country’s rapidly expanding events ecosystem. Along with Deepak Choudhary as President, Mahavir Sharma has been appointed Executive Vice President, Vinod Janardhan as General Secretary, Hareesh Babu as Secretary, and Vipul Agarwal as Treasurer. The new executive team is expected to focus on policy advocacy, industry representation, skill development, innovation and sustainable growth while addressing the evolving needs of India’s experiential and MICE industries.

To ensure balanced regional representation, EEMA has also appointed Vice Presidents from across India. Vipul Pandhi will represent the North region, R. Ramkumar the South, Harshal Kothari the West, and Saroj Mallia the East. Supporting the executive committee are Joint Secretaries Naveen Gupta (North), Nehal Shah (West), and Vishnu Muchhal (East), along with Committee Members Anup Joy (South), Pankaj Bansal (East), and Manaswini Saraswati (East). This diverse leadership structure aims to strengthen engagement with stakeholders nationwide and promote inclusive industry growth.

EEMA has played a significant role in representing India’s event management companies, experiential agencies, production houses, destination specialists and allied service providers. Over the years, the association has actively worked towards policy advocacy, knowledge-sharing initiatives, professional development and fostering stronger industry collaboration. With India’s event and exhibition sector witnessing sustained expansion, the new Governing Body is expected to accelerate initiatives that encourage innovation, build industry capabilities and create greater opportunities for members across the country.

The association’s renewed leadership will operate under EEMA’s guiding philosophy, “One Industry. One Voice. Limitless Impact.” The newly elected team is expected to further strengthen partnerships within the events and MICE ecosystem while enhancing India’s position as a global destination for world-class events, exhibitions and live experiences.
