The World Bank has launched an inspiring wall art exhibition titled “Paint Your Sky, Make it Yours: Future Bangladesh in the Eyes of the Youth,” showcasing creative works by students and young individuals from across Bangladesh. The exhibition, held at DrikPath Bhaban in Panthapath, Dhaka, is open to the public from November 23 to November 30, between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM daily. Inaugurated by Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Finance Adviser of the interim government, the event highlights the vision and aspirations of Bangladeshi youth for a prosperous and inclusive future.

Featuring artworks from 12 districts, including Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Sylhet, Chattogram, and Rangamati, the exhibition captures a wide spectrum of issues and ideas that resonate with the young generation. Abdoulaye Seck, World Bank Country Director for Bangladesh and Bhutan, emphasized the organization’s commitment to empowering youth, noting that the wall art reflects their creativity and priorities for the country’s future. He remarked on the significance of the exhibition’s title, drawn from a featured artwork, which underscores the limitless potential of youth as agents of change.

During the opening ceremony, a publication and video accompanying the exhibition were also launched, further highlighting the initiative’s dedication to amplifying youth voices and fostering meaningful conversations about Bangladesh’s path forward.
