ES. What are some of the most important skills for a stand builder?

Prathamesh Pusalkar. When it comes to the skills required, a stand builder needs several talents, some of which are essential. Creativity stands as a vital input. Not only that but also an invaluable resource is to identify and conceptualize unique and visually appealing designs that capture the essence of a client’s brand. Attention to detail is also crux. Accurate fabrications will ensure that the final product meets the highest standards. Strong project management skills are necessary to coordinate all aspects of the exhibition stand creation process, from design to installation.

ES. How do you create a cohesive look and feel for a client?

Prathamesh Pusalkar. Creating a cohesive look and feel for a client involves a deep understanding of their brand identity, messaging, and objectives. Communication is key – we engage in thorough discussions with the client to gather insights and align our vision with their expectations. Consistent collaboration and feedback loops help us refine our designs until they accurately represent the client’s brand in the exhibition space.

ES. What would you do if you were given a tight budget and limited time constraints for an exhibition design project and innovation is desired?

Prathamesh Pusalkar. If faced with a tight budget and limited time constraints for an exhibition design project where innovation is desired, we would focus on strategic prioritization. Identifying key elements that can make the most significant impact and allocating resources accordingly would be crucial. Additionally, leveraging cost-effective materials and fabrication techniques without compromising on quality can help meet budget constraints. Innovation, in this context, may involve finding creative solutions that deliver impact within the given limitations.

ES. There is a lot of competition in this industry. How do you set yourself apart from other designers?

Prathamesh Pusalkar. In a competitive industry, setting ourselves apart involves a multi-faceted approach. First and foremost, we prioritize innovation in design and fabrication techniques, staying ahead of industry trends. Strong client relationships are another key differentiator – understanding their needs and consistently exceeding expectations builds trust and fosters long-term partnerships. The Propshop also invests in the professional development of our team, ensuring that our designers and builders are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge, contributing to our overall competitive edge in the market.
