Mommy & Baby Fair 2019 Makes An Impressive Debut In Delhi

Mommy & Baby Fair 2019 was organised as a three-day exhibition on 26th-28th July, 19 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The only B2B exhibition for mother, kids and baby products in north India concluded on a high note with both exhibitors and visitors appreciating the effort put in for organizing such an exhibition for the industry. With the presence of good number of well known brands which showcased their excellence at the exhibition, the 3-day event clocked up the total visitor count of about 3,000.

There were a number of upfront and innovative brands and products showcased as well as a number of new products were launched at the exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by the industry leaders, Mr. Kenji Takaky, MD at Unicharm India, Mr. Naresh Khatar CMD at Me N Moms, Mr. Shantanu Singh, General Manager at Medela India and Mr. Priyank Jain, CEO, Tulip 3P Media. Some of the key exhibitors included Unicharm India- Mamy Poko, U-Grow, Medela India, RAL Consumer Products, Tiffy & Toffee, Panasonic, Rama Vision, Pigeon, Nuby, Mustela, Palmer’s, Vivia International, ASTAR Marketing-Fils, QPlay, Green Toys, Firmroots – Timios, Azafran, Nuluv India, Aarete Marketing, PUR Brands, The Moms Co., Me N Moms (Mee Mee), Green Gold Licensing & Merchandising – Chota Bheem, Popees Baby Care, JHS Svendgaard Brands- Aquawhite, and SRL Toys- Funbaby, amongst others which showcased their product range at the first edition of the expo.

The entire conglomeration of the dignitaries praised the exemplary efforts put in by Tulip 3P Media for organizing the exhibition which they regarded as the need of the hour and a creditable platform to provide much needed insights about the sector. The exposition emerged as a great platform for innovative and an all-encompassing range of baby care products, toys, baby food, organic clothing, healthcare, ergonomic furniture, licensing brands, stationery, educational toys, infant safety technology, along with a great assortment of quality, and state-of-the-art international products.

Highlights of the exhibition:
Astar Marketing Pvt. Ltd. launched the USA-based Green Toys at Mommy & Baby Fair. The toy brand uses 100% post-consumer recycled plastic in its products which is curbside collected by waste management, cleaned, reprocessed into the raw material and mixed with food-safe, mineral-based coloring. The cachet of the eco-friendly toys market is certainly unique, and is going to rise even further with demand.

Unicharm India which had displayed the India’s first pant style diapers- Mamy Poko Pants for the Indian market, has introduced another revolutionary product – India’s first special care diaper, Primee which is the range of diapers meant for premature babies who require special care and attention.

A renowned Romanian brand for mother and baby care products, U-Grow also displayed their wide spectrum of products under the categories of: Health, Feeding, Hygiene, Child’s bedroom, and Travelling, offering products for the evolving needs of the Indian consumers. Infantso, a home-grown Indian brand by Sunheri Marketing was introduced in the show.

Roundtable discussion
In order to push the awareness and knowledge about upcoming trends and brands, the exhibition also witnessed a roundtable discussion curated by Baby Chakra team, the event was attended by Mommy bloggers and industry pioneers. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Mommy & Baby Fair, Mr. Priyank Jain, CEO, Tulip 3P Media Pvt Ltd. said “After analyzing various international shows on baby & kid products, we felt that there is an urgent need of organizing an exhibition on the same subject in the capital of our country too. The sector is still in its nascent stage and there is a long way to go. We can foresee exponential growth in the coming years. I am sure there will be many Indian & International brands that will emerge in the market and the manufacturing will also flourish.” More than 3000 business visitors who attended the exhibition shared their experience of the exposition, meeting their expectations and were able to connect and network with the brands. The exhibition organizers assured the participants and visitors that the next edition of Mommy & Baby Fair will be a much bigger exhibition in terms of the scale, brands and more visitors from pan-India.
