London: International exhibitions and events giant Informa PLC has reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026, with its B2B Live Events business continuing to be a key growth driver. The company recorded 6.8% underlying revenue growth and 6.9% underlying operating profit growth, reaffirming its full-year growth outlook despite the impact of event rescheduling in conflict-affected markets.

Informa’s strongest performance came from its B2B Live Events and Academic Markets divisions, supported by continued investment in first-party data, customer engagement, and market-leading event brands. The company also revealed that around 80% of its targeted 2026 revenue is already committed or visible through subscriptions, forward bookings, and contracts, reflecting strong demand across its global portfolio.

The Group maintained its full-year guidance of approximately 6% underlying revenue growth while increasing its 2026 share buyback programme to £350 million, up from £250 million. Additionally, the interim dividend was raised by 6.9% to 7.48 pence per share, underscoring management’s confidence in the company’s long-term growth trajectory.

Commenting on the results, Stephen A. Carter, Group Chief Executive of Informa PLC, said the company’s market-leading brands, broad international presence, and continued investment in data capabilities are driving sustained growth across its B2B Live Events and Academic Markets businesses. He added that the company remains well-positioned to deliver on its full-year objectives while continuing to invest in future expansion.
