Despite ongoing economic challenges, Messe Stuttgart delivered a resilient performance in the 2025 financial year, welcoming more than 1.06 million visitors and 16,030 exhibitors across 39 in-house trade fairs and 20 guest events. The venue generated a turnover of €134.6 million, outperforming expectations for an off-cycle exhibition year, although it reported an EBITDA of –€2.9 million.

Speaking on the company’s performance, Messe Stuttgart President Roland Bleinroth highlighted the organisation’s ability to deliver strong results despite cautious investment sentiment and slower booking activity among domestic exhibitors. He noted that disciplined financial management and strategic planning enabled the exhibition company to navigate a challenging business environment successfully.

Looking ahead, Messe Stuttgart expects a significantly stronger 2026, supported by a robust calendar featuring flagship events such as AMB and VISION, alongside established exhibitions including CMT and INTERGASTRA. The organiser is also expanding its portfolio with new event formats, including XR EXPO, focused on immersive technologies, and MTO Days, dedicated to precision tooling and manufacturing.

Internationalisation remains a key pillar of the company’s growth strategy. Messe Stuttgart reported strong participation from exhibitors and visitors across Europe, China, India, and North America, while its overseas exhibition portfolio continues to expand. Successful international events such as R+T Asia in Shanghai and LogiMAT India have further strengthened the organiser’s global presence and reinforced its commitment to developing new markets.
