Delhi Book Fair, reinforcing the significance of the pen and the printed word in Smartphone Era

Reiterating the might of the pen and the printed world, the 26th edition of Delhi Book Fair kickstarted at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Being organised from 22-26 December 2022, the 5 Day book fair brings together over 90 plus exhibitors and over thousands of visitors from across the city and other parts of the region.

Jointly organised by ITPO & The Federation of Indian Publishers, a corporate gift fair is also being held along with stationery and office automation. This book fair is an ideal meeting place for intellectuals, writers, librarians, teachers, students and all those who have a keen interest in Indian culture and literature.

The entrance gate closest to Supreme Court metro station is gate number 10. For the convenience of the visitors, shuttle services have been arranged by the Federation of Indian Publishers from gate number 10 to the new building of ITPO. Visitors can access the Pragati Maidan’s Halls 3 and 4 through Gates 4 or 10.

Apart from promoting literacy and reading habit, especially among Children and youth, the fair presents a vast panorama of Indian books on a wide range of subject. The fair Provides a unique platform for business to business transactions, establishing new contacts, entering into Co-publishing arrangements, translation and copy right arrangements, reprinting of old and rare books, apart from providing retailing opportunities as a multitude of visitors to the fair. Some of the other attractions include, Conferences and Seminars, buyer-seller meets, book releases, book discussions, literary activities for children and Meet-the-author.
