The 92nd UFI Global Congress, organised by UFI – The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, is currently taking place from 19-22 November 2025 at AsiaWorld-Expo , Hong Kong This edition is especially significant as it coincides with UFI’s 100th anniversary, bringing together exhibition leaders from around the world.
The event is being held under the centenary theme “Honouring the Past, Celebrating the Present, Shaping the Future.” It highlights UFI’s legacy and long-term vision for the global exhibitions and business-events sector. Open exclusively to UFI members, the Congress features keynote sessions, panel discussions, and strategic dialogues.
The programme includes sessions on innovation, sustainability, technology adoption, operations, and leadership. UFI’s Annual General Assembly, chapter meetings, and working-group sessions form the governance core of the gathering.
A series of cultural and networking activities accompany the business sessions. The Congress opened with a 1920s-themed welcome reception to mark UFI’s founding era. A special Congress Dinner is being hosted at M+ Museum, featuring performances inspired by Hong Kong’s cultural icons.
Delegates are also taking part in early-morning wellness activities, including running events and Tai Chi classes led by a Hong Kong master. Additional networking programmes such as the Hong Kong Tram Party and visits to the Lan Kwai Fong district provide informal engagement opportunities.
AsiaWorld-Expo, located next to Hong Kong International Airport and connected to the Greater Bay Area, offers strong accessibility for global participants. Post-Congress tours include curated experiences across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, with visits to Macau and Zhuhai.
