The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair will take place from 07 to 16 November 2025 at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Canada, continuing its long-standing role as a gathering point for farmers, producers, breeders, food artisans, and equestrian sport participants. Organised by the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Association, the event brings together agricultural communities and urban audiences to share knowledge, traditions, and current practices in the farming and food sectors.
The Fair features a wide range of exhibitions, including dairy and beef cattle, sheep and wool, honey and beeswax, vegetables, and artisan cheeses, along with products produced by farmers and craftspeople from across the region. Exhibitors participate in judged competitions that highlight quality and skill, while visitors have the opportunity to learn about food production, animal care, and sustainable agricultural methods through demonstrations and interactive displays.
The annual horse show remains an integral part of the Fair and draws riders and enthusiasts who view it as an important fixture in the equestrian calendar. Alongside this, educational programming aims to create dialogue between rural and urban communities, offering insight into the work and challenges of the agricultural sector.
Founded in 1922 and granted its “Royal” designation by King George V, the Fair has evolved over time while maintaining a focus on agricultural awareness and community engagement. Efforts toward inclusivity and broad representation continue to shape its programming, reflecting the diversity of the people and groups connected to the farming and food ecosystem.
Each year, the event draws a considerable number of visitors and remains a notable part of Canada’s agricultural calendar, offering both industry participants and the public a space to observe, learn, and connect.
