The India ITME Society announces the winners of the India ITME Technical Awards 2025, celebrating the “Transformative Innovation…Endeavour for Excellence…Ambition to Conquer” demonstrated across the Indian textile and textile engineering industry. The awards, now in their third edition, target motivating the industry to develop India into a technology powerhouse by 2047.
The rigorous selection process spans ten months, involving a search and sifting across sectors and regions. The applications are thoroughly studied and evaluated in multiple rounds by an esteemed jury panel. This panel includes leading technocrats and industry leaders such as Mr. Uday Gill, Mr. Hemant Sharma, Mr. Updeep Singh, Dr. G V Aras, and others. The awards focus on core categories specific to textile engineering and technology, as well as students, researchers, and Women Leadership.
Ms. Amoli Shah, Prashant Gamatex, is honored with the Textile Engineering & Technology Champion: Honoring Women award. Yamuna Machinery Works secures recognition for Cutting Edge Textile Engineering Technology and the Textile Engineering & Technology Champion award for Processing & Finishing. The awards also recognize Zydex Industries Private Limited for Textile & Allied Sectors and Maksteel Wire Healds Pvt Ltd for Accessories, both under the Textile Engineering & Technology Champion category.
Furthermore, Reiter India Pvt. Ltd wins the Successful Technology Transfer & Manufacturing Under “Make in India” Vision award, while Zydex Industries Private Limited is recognized as the Sustainability Centric Organization. The Best CSR Initiative award goes to Prashant Gamatex Pvt. Ltd. for Textile Engineering Company and the Jodhpur Handicrafts Exporters Association for Regional Textile or Textile Engineering Industry Association. Student winners for Best Eco-Design include Mr. Sourav Banerjee (Post Graduation) and Ms. Bhagyashri Chandrakant Khade (Under Graduation).
The India ITME Society, along with its office bearers and jury members, congratulates the winners for their pursuit of excellence. The winners will receive a cash award, trophy, certificate, and Pan India press publicity at a grand ceremony scheduled for 19th December 2025 at the Taj Palace, Mumbai.
