India ITME Society has announced the launch of Textile Horizons 2026, a two-day international conference scheduled for December 5-6, 2026, at India Exposition Mart Ltd (IEML), Greater Noida. The conference will be held alongside India ITME 2026, the country’s flagship textile machinery exhibition, which will run from December 4-9. Fibre2Fashion has been onboarded as the Knowledge Partner for this significant industry initiative.

Positioned as a high-impact knowledge platform within the broader exhibition ecosystem, Textile Horizons 2026 aims to complement the business-focused exhibition floor by addressing the strategic, technological, and sustainability challenges shaping the future of textile manufacturing. While India ITME 2026 will spotlight machinery, innovation, and business transactions, the conference will provide a structured forum for dialogue, insights, and industry collaboration.

The launch comes at a crucial time when India’s textile sector is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by increased investments, strong policy backing, and evolving global sustainability standards. Government initiatives such as the ₹44,450 crore PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) scheme and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) programme are accelerating integrated manufacturing and boosting the man-made fibre segment. Simultaneously, stricter sustainability norms, including zero liquid discharge (ZLD) compliance and global sourcing benchmarks, are reshaping operational practices.

The conference will revolve around two core themes, Technology & Efficiency and Sustainability & Circular Economy. Key sessions will explore smart manufacturing, AI and IoT integration, robotics in textile production, energy optimisation, circular design, low-impact processing, and compliance frameworks. The programme will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, technology showcases, and case study presentations.

Dr. Seema Srivastava, Executive Director, India ITME Society, stated that the conference enhances the overall value proposition of India ITME by fostering knowledge exchange and supporting industry modernisation. The event is expected to attract a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including manufacturers, technology providers, fibre and yarn producers, brands, policymakers, sustainability experts, and investors.

With participation from global industry leaders, innovators, and decision-makers, Textile Horizons 2026 will also be complemented by key India ITME programmes such as the CEO Conclave, Technical Awards, networking sessions, and B2B meetings. Entry to the conference will be free with visitor registration, while sponsorship opportunities are now open, making it a pivotal platform for shaping the future of the textile industry.
