The co-located editions of PrintExpo Chennai and MediaExpo Chennai 2025 wrapped up successfully, transforming Chennai into a buzzing centre for the print, signage, and branding industry. Held at Chennai Trade Centre, the dual expos attracted an impressive 16,089 visitors from 262 cities across 27 Indian states & UTs and 22 countries, highlighting their growing industry relevance.
With a combined 185 exhibitors, the show floor was filled with live demonstrations, product launches, and high-volume deal closures. The 15th edition of PrintExpo reaffirmed its legacy as a key platform for commercial printing and packaging technology, while the debut edition of MediaExpo Chennai introduced a vibrant display of digital signage, LED systems, fabrication tools, and display innovations. Together, the expos offered attendees a 360-degree industry experience.
Visitor feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Ms Uma Maheshwari of Heutetrend Pvt Ltd shared, “It felt as if I was in Mumbai or New Delhi. The show was awesome as both expos came together.” Her colleague, Mr Kumar, mentioned that they had already purchased products and were optimistic about business growth. Long-time visitor Mr Vaidhya Nathan of Speed Xerox highlighted the value of discovering new technologies every year. Another visitor from Chennai added that the show is a must-visit for both professionals and students looking to enter the printing business.
Exhibitors also reported excellent outcomes. Xerox India’s Mr Arjun Khosla called the response “excellent,” and Minosha Print Solutions’ Mr Prasanna Rajagopalan confirmed over 10 machines sold during the show. Komori India’s Mr Chakrapani Vemula noted strong interest from Tamil Nadu and neighboring states, while Mimaki India’s Mr Kenichiro Seiki appreciated the cross-traffic from PrintExpo visitors.
Other notable participants included Simmac, showcasing a roll-to-roll machine for non-woven fabrics, and Pinnacle Technologies, which launched DTF with gold foil and creasing machines. Ninth Avenue Industries (Avery Dennison) appreciated the footfall and reach to the Southern market, while Coresigns LLP received enthusiastic interest for their patented folding light box technology. First-time exhibitor Thandora (Chitra Graphics) successfully signed new dealers during the show.
