Informa Markets in India will host the 23rd edition of the Hand Tools & Power Tools Expo (HTF) and the 14th edition of the Cutting and Welding Equipment Expo (CWE) from 27–29 September 2025 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Mumbai. Co-located with the International Machine Tools Expo (IMEX) and the Used Machinery Expo (UMEX), the event is positioned as India’s most comprehensive B2B platform for the tools, welding, and machinery ecosystem.
The twin shows will feature over 150 brands from 10 countries, with strong participation from Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, and China. More than 8,000 trade visitors are expected to attend, including manufacturers, distributors, and technology leaders across automotive, aerospace, construction, heavy engineering, and energy sectors.
Cutting-edge Technologies on Display
Visitors will experience live demonstrations of next-generation welding automation, high-performance power tools, and advanced machine tools, alongside curated showcases of pre-owned machinery. MSMEs and start-ups will find affordable technologies aimed at accelerating growth, while decision-makers can connect with global innovators. Special initiatives such as the “Grip & Grow” distributors and OEMs meet will further strengthen industry linkages.
Knowledge Exchange at the Core
The three-day exhibition will feature technical seminars and workshops on themes such as Industry 4.0, advanced welding, safety protocols, sustainability, and energy efficiency. Curated matchmaking sessions and product zones will provide focused opportunities for buyers and suppliers to engage, while outstanding exhibitors and breakthrough innovations will be recognized on the closing day.
Industry Outlook
According to Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, India’s manufacturing sector is poised to touch USD 1 trillion in the near term, growing to USD 1.5 trillion by 2030. The domestic machine tools market is expanding at 11% CAGR, while the welding equipment sector is expected to near USD 2 billion by 2030. “Platforms like HTF and CWE enable this growth by bringing together global innovators and Indian enterprises, offering solutions across the entire value chain,” he said.
With India’s construction market projected to double by 2030 and power tools growing at 8% annually, HTF + CWE 2025 aims to be a pivotal hub for sourcing, partnerships, and knowledge exchange, reinforcing India’s position as a global manufacturing powerhouse.
