India’s plastics recycling and compounding industry will converge at the Plastics Recycling World Expo India, co-located with the Compounding World Expo, on September 10-11, 2025, at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Rebranded under the RACE (Recycling And Compounding Expo) banner, the event is organized by Polymerupdate in partnership with AMI.

RACE Mumbai 2025 will focus on sustainable solutions, circular economy frameworks, regulatory shifts, and advanced technologies in recycling and compounding. Exhibits will feature machinery, sorting systems, reclaimed plastics, masterbatches, and additive innovations emphasizing efficiency and environmental responsibility.

The expo will include free-to-attend conferences addressing post-consumer waste strategies, EPR compliance, mechanical and chemical recycling, design for recyclability, and new material development. The programme will see industry leaders discuss policy directions, scaling models, and technological advancements.

Exhibitors include Apar Industries, Autotech Sirmax, Erema, Starlinger Recycling Technology, Mixaco, Ishitva Robotic Systems, and Vin Poly Recyclers. The event is expected to attract recyclers, compounders, machinery manufacturers, packaging firms, policymakers, NGOs, and technology developers.

RACE Mumbai aims to foster collaborations, drive knowledge exchange, and support India’s transition towards a circular plastics economy. Sponsorship packages will offer branding, conference visibility, and delegate networking access.
