India Energy Week 2026 Opens Today in Goa, Bringing Global Leaders Together for Energy Transition

India’s flagship energy event, India Energy Week (IEW) 2026, officially opened today, runing from 27th – 30th January at the ONGC Advanced Training Institute (ATI), Betul, Goa, marking the beginning of four days of high-level dialogue, innovation, and global collaboration in the energy sector.

Now in its 4th edition, India Energy Week 2026 is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, and is jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and dmg events. The event is expected to host 700+ exhibitors, 75,000+ attendees, 550+ speakers, 120+ sessions, and 12+ international country pavilions, making it one of the largest energy platforms in the world.

India Energy Week brings together global energy leaders, ministers, policymakers, CEOs, investors, and innovators to address the challenges and opportunities across the entire energy value chain, including oil & gas, renewables, green hydrogen, biofuels, LNG, electrification, digitalisation, AI, and energy storage.

The exhibition features 11 thematic zones, including the Hydrogen Zone, Biofuels Zone, Renewable Energy Zone, LNG Ecosystem Zone, Make in India Zone, India Net-Zero Zone, Petrochem Zone, City Gas Distribution Zone, and Digitalisation & AI Zone, showcasing cutting-edge technologies driving efficiency, sustainability, and decarbonisation.

A major highlight of IEW 2026 is the dedicated “Energy Storage and Green Hydrogen Pavilion”, curated by the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) as the Association Partner. The event also hosts strategic and technical conferences featuring ministerial sessions, CEO roundtables, technical workshops, and B2B matchmaking.

The global energy dialogue commenced today with the Opening Ceremony and a virtual address by Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, reinforcing India’s commitment to energy security and sustainability.

Running until 30 January 2026, India Energy Week 2026 positions Goa as a strategic hub for global energy leadership and reinforces India’s role as a powerhouse in the global energy transition.
