IEIA Announces Executive Committee for 2025–27 and Launches IEIA 2.0

The Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) has announced its new Executive Committee for the 2025–2027 term at the 19th IEIA Annual General Meeting, held in New Delhi on 19 December 2025.

As IEIA moves closer to completing two decades of dedicated service to India’s exhibition industry, the newly constituted Executive Committee is set to lead the Association into a renewed phase titled IEIA 2.0. This next chapter will focus on innovation, inclusivity, collaboration, and future readiness, aligning the Association with the rapidly evolving dynamics of the exhibition ecosystem.

Ensuring continuity and strategic leadership, Mr. Sooraj Dhawan continues in his role as President of IEIA, while Mr. Ubaid Ahmad takes charge as Vice President. Mr. Jagdish Patankar will continue as Honorary Secretary, and Mr. P. Ramakrishna remains Honorary Treasurer.
The Executive Committee for the 2025–2027 term also includes continuing members Mr. Sudeep Sarcar, Mr. Vipul Agarwal, and Mr. Dharampal Malhotra. Newly inducted members to the committee are Ms. Avisha Desai, Ms. Nazeeba Zarin, Ms. Pallavi Mehra, Mr. Satyendra Mehra, and Mr. Sudhir Dhavan. Strengthening the leadership further, Dr. Rakesh Kumar joins the Association as Ex-Officio Past President.

Commenting on the Association’s roadmap, Mr. Dhawan highlighted that India’s exhibition industry is entering a phase of accelerated growth and emphasized that the newly appointed Executive Committee will play a pivotal role in steering this transformation.

Notably, the new Executive Committee demonstrates enhanced representation of women leaders, with three women members joining the EC. This development marks a meaningful step forward and reinforces IEIA’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) across the industry.

IEIA expressed its sincere appreciation to its members, partners, and past leadership for their continued trust and support. With the launch of IEIA 2.0, the Association reiterates its commitment to building a progressive, inclusive, and globally competitive future for India’s exhibition industry.
