Gartex Texprocess India 2025, one of the country’s most comprehensive trade shows for the textile and garment machinery industry, is set to unveil a new dimension with the launch of the Textile Care Forum, in collaboration with the Drycleaners and Launderers Association of India (DLAI). Organised by MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd, the show will take place from 21–23 August 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. DLAI will be onboard as the Knowledge Partner to host the Textile Care Forum on 22nd August, aiming to spotlight innovations in textile care and connect stakeholders across the value chain.

This strategic partnership comes at a crucial time, as India’s laundry and textile care industry experiences remarkable growth, driven by demand for sustainable practices, eco-friendly chemicals, water-saving technologies, and advanced cleaning systems. According to IMARC Group, India’s dry-cleaning services market stood at USD 1.31 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to USD 2.09 billion by 2033, at a CAGR of 5.40%.

The Textile Care Forum will serve as a platform for professionals including dry cleaners, wet cleaners, commercial laundry operators, and equipment providers to exchange insights and explore next-gen solutions in machinery, automation, stain removal, biodegradable chemicals, and more. The initiative aligns with Messe Frankfurt’s global Texcare brand, extending its influence in India and addressing the surging demand for sustainable and efficient textile care services.

Mr Suresh D Bhatia, President of DLAI, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “Together with Gartex Texprocess India, we aim to complete the circle of textile care—from production to preservation—by highlighting hygiene, quality, and sustainability. This partnership will not only boost industry exposure but also celebrate craftsmanship and community.”

Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director & Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, commented, “This collaboration strengthens our offering and brings global Texcare expertise to India, creating new avenues for networking, innovation, and knowledge-sharing.”

Ms Himani Gulati, Director, MEX Exhibitions, added, “The Textile Care Forum marks a major milestone for Gartex Texprocess India, bringing new focus to professional cleaning technologies and adding value to our visitor and exhibitor base.”

As the show continues to evolve, the inclusion of DLAI and the Textile Care Forum marks a significant step toward positioning Gartex Texprocess India as a 360-degree platform covering textile machinery, denim, fabrics, accessories, screen-printing, and now textile care.
