Gartex Texprocess India 2025 opens at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi

The 13th edition of Gartex Texprocess India 2025 opened on a high note at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Organized by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd and MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, the three-day landmark event (21st – 23rd August 2025) is setting a new benchmark for the garment, textile manufacturing, and denim industry.

This year, the exhibition introduces two significant additions – the LeatherX Pavilion and the Textile Care Forum, making the platform more holistic and comprehensive. With record participation from 200+ exhibitors and 600+ brands, the show features major global names including Durst, Morimota Singapore (Kansai), Epson, Morgan, Jinjen, Groz Beckert, Brothers International, Jack Franc, Veolia, Amazon, and more, with representation from China, Japan, Italy, Germany, and Singapore. Notably, 35% of the participants are first-time exhibitors, signaling new opportunities for the industry.

Spread across 1,50,000+ sq. ft., the exhibition has emerged as a formidable global platform where stakeholders engage in meaningful conversations and exchange innovative ideas. The opening day witnessed dynamic networking, high-level engagement, and robust activities across all stalls.

The show was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Hon’ble Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs and Minister of Power, Government of India, along with Guest of Honour Shri Rakesh Sachan, Hon’ble Minister of MSME, Khadi, Village Industries, Sericulture and Textile, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and other eminent dignitaries.

Speaking at the inauguration, Shri Manohar Lal Khattar highlighted the textile industry’s role as one of India’s largest employment generators and urged stakeholders to transition toward renewable energy, aligning with India’s Mission 2047. Shri Rakesh Sachan emphasized the government’s efforts to promote indigenous machinery, industrial land development, and the creation of Uttar Pradesh’s first textile park.

Adding to the momentum, Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director & Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, expressed delight over the overwhelming response and emphasized India’s growing presence on the global textile map. Ms Himani Gulati and Mr Gaurav Juneja, Directors, MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, echoed similar sentiments, calling the 13th edition more “future-focused” and beneficial for participants.

Among the highlights are The Denim Show (in association with the Denim Manufacturers Association), the Fabrics and Trims Show, Screen Print India (Textile), alongside the newly launched LeatherX Pavilion and Textile Care Forum.

The response on the first day reflects India’s dominant role in the global textile ecosystem, with the coming days expected to foster even more collaborations, innovations, and business opportunities.
