The 20th edition of Garfab-TX Surat is scheduled to take place from June 13 to June 15, 2025, at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC). This biennial trade show, organized by Vardaan Events Pvt. Ltd., will run from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM over the three days. It serves as a significant platform for professionals in the textile, apparel, and garment manufacturing sectors to explore the latest technological advancements and industry trends.

The event is expected to host approximately 300 exhibitors, showcasing a wide array of products and services, including sewing machines, embroidery systems, digital printing technologies, CAD/CAM solutions, dyeing and finishing equipment, and textile accessories. With an anticipated attendance of around 20,000 visitors, the exhibition aims to facilitate networking, knowledge exchange, and business opportunities among industry stakeholders.

Surat, known as the textile hub of Gujarat, produces over 30 million meters of raw fabric daily and accounts for about 90% of India’s polyester consumption. The city’s textile industry has experienced significant growth, with a 10% increase in textile production over the past decade. This expansion is attributed to the industry’s adaptability to market trends and technological advancements.

The Garfab-TX Surat exhibition plays a significant role in this development by providing a platform for manufacturers to upgrade their machinery and adopt new technologies. Previous editions have seen substantial investments in advanced equipment, reflecting a shift towards modernization and increased competitiveness in the global market.

The Gujarat government’s Textile Policy 2024 further supports this growth by offering financial incentives, including a 25% capital subsidy and Rs 1 per unit power subsidy, to textile units across the state. These measures aim to enhance infrastructure and encourage technological investment, positioning Surat as a leading player in the textile industry.

While the exhibition is primarily a trade event, it significantly influences the industry by promoting technological innovation, fostering business collaborations, and contributing to the overall growth and modernization of Surat’s textile sector.
