The 19th edition of Fi India, co-located with the 7th edition of ProPak India, commenced at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, bringing together more than 340 exhibitors and 15,000+ professionals from over 50 countries. Held from September 3–5, the twin shows positioned themselves as India’s premier platforms for food ingredients, processing, and packaging innovations, enabling high-value sourcing, collaboration, and investment across one of the world’s fastest-growing F&B markets.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by a distinguished panel of industry leaders, government representatives, and association heads. Dr. Prabodh Halde, Chairman of CASMB, highlighted the growing importance of Ayurveda, herbal, and organic products in the global food value chain. He emphasized that strengthening food processing not only drove exports but also uplifted farmer incomes, directly benefiting nearly 68% of India’s population. Similarly, Mr. Hitesh Patel of HADSA noted how platforms like Fi India & ProPak India had transformed the ecosystem by uniting technology providers, ingredient suppliers, and buyers under one roof, offering entrepreneurs the confidence to compete globally.

The shows were backed by strong industry support from AFSTI, HADSA, AIFPA, CASMB, and other associations. They featured specialized zones such as the MSME Pavilion, business matchmaking, live demonstrations, and product launches. International participation was strong, with companies and country pavilions from the USA, Italy, Denmark, Korea, and more. Exhibitors showcased cutting-edge solutions ranging from natural ingredients and nutraceuticals to smart packaging machinery and sustainable processing technologies.

Knowledge exchange remained a central pillar of the event. Day 1 witnessed expert-led sessions on product development, regulatory compliance, plant-based and prebiotic nutrition, and ingredient innovation. ProPak India also hosted discussions on adaptive supply chains, packaging innovations for ready-to-eat foods, and sustainable manufacturing. The Fi India Awards, held alongside, celebrated excellence in categories such as sustainable practices, cold chain management, product innovation, and food safety, acknowledging both established companies and MSMEs.

Fi India & ProPak India 2025 were part of Informa Markets in India’s “Festivity of Business” campaign, which spanned 28 major events across the country. With India’s food processing sector projected to reach USD 535 billion by 2026 and the packaged food market growing at 15% CAGR, the shows reflected the sector’s resilience and growth potential. Together, they reinforced India’s positioning as a rising global hub for food processing, packaging, and ingredient innovation.
