The Dakota Farm Show will take place from January 6 to 8, 2026, at the USD DakotaDome in Vermillion, South Dakota. The event is open to visitors with free admission and parking. It is organized by Midwest Shows, Inc. and brings together agricultural producers, suppliers, and industry professionals from South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota.
The 2026 edition is expected to host more than 225 exhibiting companies, presenting over 1,000 agricultural product lines. Exhibits will cover a wide range of categories including farm machinery, crop inputs, livestock equipment, precision agriculture solutions, and related services. As the show is held indoors, attendees can review products and technologies in a climate-controlled setting.
Alongside the exhibition floor, the Dakota Farm Show will feature educational seminars conducted by SDSU Extension. These sessions will focus on current agricultural research, production practices, and issues relevant to farmers and agribusiness professionals. The seminar program is designed to provide practical information that can be applied ahead of the upcoming farming season.
Additional activities planned during the three-day event include daily “$1000 SHOWBUCKS!” prize drawings, live radio broadcasts by WNAX, and a Ford truck giveaway, which is scheduled to take place on the final day. The truck giveaway is sponsored by Northland Ford dealers in partnership with WNAX.
Organizers describe the Dakota Farm Show as a working platform for business interaction and information exchange, offering farmers and suppliers an opportunity to review new products, discuss operational challenges, and plan for the year ahead.
