Global event technology platform CrowdComms has announced the acquisition of EventEye, a well-established event tech company in the Nordic region. The move brings EventEye’s experienced team into the CrowdComms group and strengthens the company’s presence across the Nordics and Scandinavia.
According to CrowdComms, the acquisition will increase local capacity and enhance support for clients in the region. By combining the strengths of both organisations, customers are expected to benefit from improved service, access to a larger global support network, and more advanced solutions for complex and large-scale event programmes. The integration will also make it easier for Nordic clients to manage and deliver international events with consistent technology support.
CrowdComms and EventEye share a long-standing relationship. The two companies have known each other’s leadership teams for more than a decade, and EventEye has operated as a territory partner for CrowdComms for the past six years. This history of collaboration is expected to ensure a smooth transition and strong cultural alignment.
Matt Allen, CEO of CrowdComms, said the partnership is built on mutual trust and shared ambitions. He noted that EventEye’s deep regional knowledge combined with CrowdComms’ global reach creates a powerful opportunity for growth in the Nordic market.
Fredrik Hoel, co-founder of EventEye, also welcomed the move, expressing excitement about joining the CrowdComms group. He emphasized that both companies share similar values and a commitment to delivering high-quality event technology solutions.
As part of the acquisition, Hoel will take on the role of Managing Director of CrowdComms Nordic. EventEye’s existing clients will continue to be supported by the same local team, ensuring continuity and service consistency.
This acquisition follows CrowdComms’ recent expansion into the United States, marking another step in its global growth strategy.
