COMPACK 2026 – Complete Packaging Expo, India’s specialised B2B exhibition for the packaging and processing industry, will return for its 15th edition from 28-30 May 2026 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai. Organised by Smart Expos & Fairs (India) Pvt. Ltd., the three-day exhibition will bring together packaging machinery manufacturers, material suppliers, automation providers, converters, and logistics solution companies under one platform.
The exhibition will focus on key segments including packaging machinery, packaging materials, automation systems, processing equipment, labelling technologies, recycling solutions, logistics, design services, and sustainability-driven innovations. COMPACK 2026 aims to connect suppliers and technology providers with decision-makers from FMCG, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, industrial manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce sectors across South India and beyond.
The organisers highlighted Tamil Nadu’s strategic importance as one of India’s strongest industrial and manufacturing hubs. With over 140 industrial parks, more than 10,000 MSMEs, robust FMCG and pharma clusters, extensive port infrastructure, and multiple international airports, the state has emerged as a major growth centre for packaging, automation, and logistics industries. The exhibition will also place strong emphasis on sustainable and eco-friendly packaging solutions, reflecting rising industry demand for recyclable and biodegradable materials.
COMPACK 2026 builds on the strong performance of its previous edition, which recorded participation from buyers and professionals across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Telangana. According to the organisers, the earlier edition generated an estimated USD 15 million business potential and delivered between 70 and 180 qualified business enquiries per exhibitor.
The upcoming edition will showcase advanced packaging technologies including filling, sealing, pouching, wrapping, RFID systems, robotics, conveyors, inspection systems, smart labelling, and end-of-line automation. Live demonstrations, supplier meetings, and networking opportunities are expected to attract packaging development, production, procurement, and supply chain teams from leading Indian manufacturing companies.
Industry experts believe COMPACK 2026 will play a significant role in strengthening India’s packaging ecosystem while supporting industrial modernisation, sustainability goals, and South India’s rapidly expanding manufacturing economy.
