Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 opens its doors today at the Dubai World Trade Centre, welcoming a record-breaking crowd of over 55,000 visitors and more than 2,800 exhibitors from 166 countries. Now in its 32nd year, the event reflects the growing momentum of global tourism and the increasing importance of international collaboration in the travel industry.

This year’s theme, “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” focuses on how stronger links between countries, industries, and communities shape a more sustainable and inclusive future for travel. Across the venue, conversations revolve around the role of technology, innovation, and cross-border cooperation in shaping what comes next.

The show floor buzzes with activity as destinations from around the world showcase their unique experiences. Asia stands out as the fastest-growing region at the event, with exhibitor participation up 20% year-on-year. Countries like India, Thailand, Japan, and South Korea take centre stage, underlining the region’s growing influence in global tourism. India increases its presence by 30%, with a strong turnout from state tourism boards and major airlines.

Visitors arrive from across the globe, with international attendees making up over half of all registrations. The UAE and wider GCC account for 48%, while India, Egypt, the UK, Türkiye, and the United States lead the list of top international markets. Technology plays a larger role than ever. ATM Travel Tech expands significantly, featuring new innovations in travel and hospitality, immersive VR experiences, and sessions exploring the future of AI in the sector. The Start-Up and Innovation Zone gives emerging companies a platform to present fresh ideas, while the Future Stage hosts discussions on how tech continues to reshape the traveller experience.

This year also sees the launch of IBTM@ATM, a new feature focused on the business events industry. It brings together planners, venues, tourism boards, and airlines, all looking to connect and grow within the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector. As ATM 2025 gets underway, Dubai once again becomes the meeting point for the world’s travel leaders—offering space not just to do business, but to imagine what the future of travel can be.
