The Festival of Architecture and Interior Designing (FOAID) – New Delhi 2025, is set to open its doors tomorrow, November 21, at the NSIC Grounds in Okhla. The two-day annual event, running until November 22, serves as a significant convergence point for design professionals, students, and allied industry stakeholders from across India and the globe.

Organized by Coalesce Eventz India Pvt. Ltd., the 2025 New Delhi edition is focused on the central theme, “Designing Tomorrow: Culture | Craft | Climate.” This agenda aims to steer conversations toward responsible design practices, integrating traditional Indian craftsmanship and vernacular knowledge with contemporary innovation. Discussions are expected to cover pressing industry issues, including net-zero design strategies, material technology, and the development of human-centric spaces that respond effectively to environmental and social challenges.

The festival incorporates several dedicated platforms designed to facilitate knowledge exchange and showcase emerging trends. The CMC Design Manthan conference will host over 100 national and international speakers across approximately 20 sessions, featuring thought leaders from the architecture and design fraternity. Concurrently, the Design Arena exhibition space will showcase projects and products from more than 300 participating brands, offering attendees an opportunity to explore a diverse range of materials, lighting concepts, and innovative building solutions.

A strong focus remains on nurturing new talent through competitions and workshops. Events like the VOX Architecture Ideas Competition, ICA Creative Minds Next, and the student-focused Expressions Art Installation Competition provide platforms for emerging architects and designers to present their visionary work to a distinguished jury.

Since its inception in 2014, FOAID has evolved into a key fixture in India’s design calendar, consistently bringing together diverse voices to applaud design excellence and foster professional collaboration. This year’s gathering is expected to attract over 6,000 delegates and visitors, reinforcing the event’s role in shaping the ongoing dialogue about the future of the built environment in India. The festival provides a comprehensive framework for professionals seeking to network, learn, and contribute to the architectural and interior design discourse.
