South Asia’s largest poultry event, the Poultry India Expo, organized annually by the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (IPEMA), has established itself as a benchmark for innovation, collaboration, and industry growth. The 17th edition, scheduled from 25–28 November 2025 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, is set to be larger and more impactful than ever before.

India’s Poultry Industry – A Global Leader

India ranks as the second-largest egg producer globally (142.77 billion in 2023–24) and is among the top four producers of broiler meat worldwide. The sector continues to grow at 8–10% annually in chicken meat and 6–8% in eggs. Beyond contributing to food and nutritional security, poultry plays a pivotal role in rural employment and inclusive growth, empowering small farmers, women, and youth through contract farming and backyard poultry. Rising incomes, urbanization, and robust government and private sector support further reinforce the industry’s strategic importance to India’s economic and social development.

To sustain this growth and maintain global competitiveness, IPEMA has created a platform that brings together the entire poultry ecosystem. Under the theme “One Nation, One Expo”, the expo has evolved into South Asia’s largest poultry exhibition, addressing all aspects of the sector—from policy dialogue and innovation to networking and knowledge-sharing. It provides farmers, breeders, integrators, researchers, and entrepreneurs with opportunities to collaborate, driving growth and positioning India as a global poultry powerhouse.
