Designing Experiences, Building Connections
ES. Tell us about the journey of Novatech Expo and the vision behind it
Hasan Saifi. Novatech Expo was founded with a clear vision to redefine how exhibitions are experienced in India and globally. What started as a small team with a passion for design and execution has grown into a company that partners with leading brands across technology, lifestyle, retail, and manufacturing sectors. Our journey has been built on trust, creativity, and precision. We have delivered projects at major venues like Pragati Maidan, India Expo Mart, and JIO Convention Centre, supporting both domestic players and multinational corporations. The vision has always been to position Novatech Expo as a global-ready partner that not only builds exhibition stands but creates platforms where brands engage, influence, and grow.
ES. What are some of the key USPs of Novatech Expo that differentiate it from other industry stakeholders of the same domain
Hasan Saifi. Our strength lies in combining strategic design with flawless execution. Some of our core differentiators are:
- End-to-end services from design conceptualization to fabrication, logistics, and on-ground delivery, ensuring clients have a single point of accountability.
- International quality benchmarks that match global exhibition standards, giving Indian and overseas clients the confidence to compete on any stage.
- Innovation-led approach where every project is customized, never templated, ensuring each booth reflects the unique brand identity of our clients.
- Reliability and speed with a proven record of delivering complex projects within strict timelines and budgets.
- Partnership mindset where we act not only as execution partners but also as advisors who help brands maximize ROI from their exhibition presence.
ES. How do you see the overall exhibition landscape of India in present times?
Hasan Saifi. The exhibition industry in India is witnessing strong growth, valued at approximately INR 23,800 crore in 2023 and projected to grow at a CAGR of more than 8 percent in the coming years. India has become the third largest exhibition market in Asia, after China and Japan, and continues to attract global organizers. The demand for
face-to-face networking post pandemic has accelerated investment into larger, more experiential events. However, challenges remain in terms of infrastructure gaps, sustainability practices, and the need for advanced digital integration. Venues are expanding, but India still requires more global-standard exhibition centers to match the rising demand. Despite these challenges, the outlook is highly positive. Exhibitions are increasingly being recognized as a catalyst for B2B trade, with each rupee spent generating up to 10 rupees of business value for participants. For stakeholders like us, this is a time to innovate, integrate technology, and raise design quality to global levels.
ES. What message would you like to give to our readers, particularly to young professionals who wish to join the exhibition sector?
Hasan Saifi. The exhibition industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors in India, contributing significantly to trade promotion and job creation. For young professionals, this is a space full of opportunities to learn design, marketing, client engagement, project management, and technology integration all at once. My advice is to enter the industry with a mindset of innovation and adaptability. Exhibitions are high-pressure environments, but they teach invaluable lessons about precision, teamwork, and creativity. At Novatech Expo, we have seen young talent grow into leaders who now manage international-scale projects. This industry rewards those who are willing to think differently and deliver consistently. For aspiring professionals, it is not just a career but a chance to be part of shaping India’s global trade story.
