Ujjain will host रूहmantic: PHDCCI’s 2nd Global Spiritual Tourism Conclave on 27 August 2025 at Hotel Anjushree. The event is organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. The conclave will bring together spiritual leaders, policymakers, tourism experts, and innovators to discuss the future of India’s spiritual tourism sector.
The inaugural session will feature Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, as Chief Guest, and Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Government of India, as Guest of Honour. Gauranga Das Prabhu will deliver the keynote address.
Other speakers include Mr. Suman Billa (IAS), Additional Secretary & Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and Mr. Sheo Shekhar Shukla (IAS), Principal Secretary – Tourism, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The session will include the release of the PHDCCI-KPMG Report on Spiritual Tourism, Faith & Flow: Navigating Crowds in India’s Sacred Spaces, which examines the economic, cultural, and global impact of faith-driven travel.
A Government-Industry Roundtable, chaired by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, will provide a platform for corporates and PHDCCI members to discuss infrastructure, cultural promotion, and hospitality in spiritual tourism.
