UFI Appoints Raya Al Taher as Research Coordinator to Strengthen Global Industry Insights

 UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, has announced the appointment of Raya Al Taher as its new Research Coordinator, further reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-quality data and strategic intelligence for the global exhibitions sector.

In her new role, Al Taher will work closely with Christian Druart, Research Manager at UFI, and his team to support the development of industry analyses and reports that inform UFI’s strategic insights and knowledge platforms. Her responsibilities will include contributing to UFI’s flagship research initiatives such as the Global Exhibition Barometer, Global Exhibitors and Visitors Insights, and the World Map of Venues.

Based on her academic and professional expertise, Al Taher will also provide technical support across UFI’s internal research operations, focusing on data collection, validation, interpretation, and reporting ensuring robust, evidence-based outputs for UFI members and stakeholders worldwide.

Raya Al Taher holds a PhD in Digital Marketing and brings a strong data-driven background, with expertise in market research, survey design, and both quantitative and qualitative analysis. She also has experience managing international events across non-profit and for-profit sectors, along with teaching marketing, adding practical industry perspective to her analytical skill set.
