
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS-2025). The event will be held from September 25 to 29, 2025, at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. Russia has been designated as the official partner country for this year’s showcase.
By highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s several industries, such as IT/ITES, MSMEs, agriculture, health, tourism, culture, energy, and One District One Product (ODOP) programs, the UPITS seeks to establish the state as a worldwide investment destination. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed that the event’s first two iterations had given the state’s exports fresh impetus and international prominence.
It is anticipated that more than 500 foreign customers and more than 2,500 exhibitors would attend. Specialized pavilions in the event will showcase programs including PM Swanidhi, the PM Internship Program, and the CM Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan. In addition, a fashion display with a Khadi theme and cultural performances will recognize Uttar Pradesh businesses who received the Padma award and highlight regional customs.
Topics include the goal of a $1 trillion Uttar Pradesh economy, electronics, e-commerce, food processing, and healthcare programs will be covered in the daily knowledge sessions. In order to promote economic progress, these sessions seek to strengthen ties between government, business, and academics.
The collaboration with Russia underscores the growing importance of international partnerships in Uttar Pradesh’s economic development strategy. The participation of a high-level Russian delegation, including industry leaders and cultural performers, highlights the event’s potential to strengthen bilateral relations and expand market access for industries in both countries
Stakeholders are hopeful about the event’s potential to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and cross-cultural interaction, opening the door to Uttar Pradesh’s success on the international scene.
