ES. Sustainability is becoming central to the future of events. What practical steps can venues, organisers, and stakeholders take to design and deliver truly sustainable events, and how is Yashobhoomi contributing to this transition?

Phil Chung. At Yashobhoomi, sustainability is a core responsibility reflected in every facet of our venue. From rainwater harvesting and water treatment to converting waste into natural fertilizer, our infrastructure is designed for a greener tomorrow. We prioritize energy efficiency through solar power, natural lighting, and logistical layouts—such as large entry doors—that reduce fuel consumption during move-ins. We believe sustainability is a partnership. We encourage organizers to lead the way with reusable booths, pre-planned logistics, and plastic-free initiatives. By choosing fabric branding and eco-friendly materials over foam-core boards and heavy carpeting, we can dramatically lower the environmental footprint of every event. Coupled with excellent public transport links via DMRC and local hospitality partnerships, Yashobhoomi proves that premier event hosting and ecological consciousness are perfectly compPatible.
