The 2026 edition of INDEX PLUS, India’s leading international trade fair for furniture, interiors, and design, is being held from February 6 to 8, 2026, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Organised by NürnbergMesse India, this premier exhibition serves as a significant commercial platform for the $32 billion Indian furniture industry, bringing together over 300 exhibitors and 500 brands.
The event features a comprehensive showcase of the industry value chain, including over 300 exhibitors and 500 brands. Attendees are currently engaging with specialized zones such as the Design Pavilion, Art Enclave, and Kudos Gallery, which highlight the latest in residential furniture, modular office solutions, and smart home automation. The live floor serves as a major B2B hub, connecting architects, interior designers, and high-volume project buyers with leading national and international suppliers.
A primary highlight of the opening day is the curated conference program led by industry experts. Today’s sessions included high-impact “Design Talks” and a roundtable discussion titled “Sponge Cities: Possibilities for a Thirsty City,” moderated by Sylvia Khan. These knowledge-sharing initiatives aim to address urban sustainability and the evolution of modern workspaces, providing professionals with critical insights into future-ready design and architectural technologies.
The 2026 circuit will continue its national presence following the Bengaluru leg with two more major stops. The event is scheduled to move to New Delhi (August 7–9) at Yashobhoomi (IICC) and concludes in Mumbai (September 18–20) at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. By establishing this multi-city platform, INDEX PLUS continues its mission to modernize the $32 billion Indian furniture market and streamline sourcing for design professionals across the country.
