These are unprecedented times. In these tough moments, our face to face industry has been hit very badly. With the future uncertain, it is very important that we all come together and reflect one common voice for our industry. Let us be positive and let us amplify our voice by getting together in a meaningful campaign for our industry. Our motive should be to reach out to the policy makers so that they understand that Exhibitions are different from Mass Gatherings. It is now or never for us and we appeal to the exhibition fraternity to support this cause. Get involved and ask everyone in your team to support this. We need to achieve significant traction through this exercise if we wish to be heard by the policy makers.

Message from Mr. Balasubramanian, President, IEIA

Dear Industry Colleagues,

Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) has spearheaded the campaign ‘WE SUPPORT EXHIBITIONS’ with an aim to establish the importance of ‘Exhibitions’ as the most effective tools for economic recovery. Through this campaign, we aim at having our collective voice heard by Government of India for re-opening of exhibitions at the earliest. IEIA has also published the SOPs for conduct of safe exhibitions post lockdown and are taking this ahead with the Government, with improvised versions, advocating the fact that ‘Exhibitions’ are different from general Mass Gatherings and should be allowed to be conducted under safe conditions.

We invite all the stakeholders of the exhibitions sector to join this campaign with zeal and zest enable achieve our common goal. We would be releasing a creative with a tagline every day through mailer and whatsapp, for posting across the social media portals as ‘WE Support Exhibitions’ Campaign Message for the Day. Request all to post the same message by tagging the specified Govt. representatives and hashtags mentioned with the message. Please also invite and take endorsements from exhibitors associated with your organisations and get them and all your team members involved in the campaign.

We are sure that the collective efforts, participation and support of the whole fraternity will fruitfully work towards the earliest opening up of our sector and enable us get back to business soon.
