In a significant development for the Indian exhibition industry, the Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) has confirmed its role as the Exclusive Patron for the Exhibition Excellence Awards & Summit 2026, marking the Decennial Edition of one of the sector’s most respected recognition platforms.

ACSICON 2025Scheduled to take place on 12 June 2026 at CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre, Mumbai, the Exhibition Excellence Awards & Summit has over the past decade evolved into a key platform celebrating excellence across exhibition organisers, conference organisers, venues, hotels and service providers who continue to shape the exhibition and convention ecosystem.

IEIA’s patronage reflects a strong institutional alignment with the platform and reinforces the industry’s shared commitment to strengthening credible recognition initiatives for the sector.

Commenting on the association, the IEIA President said:

“As the Indian exhibition industry continues to evolve and expand its global footprint, it is essential that platforms exist which recognise and celebrate excellence across organisers, venues and service partners. Over the years, the Exhibition Excellence Awards have emerged as an annual industry platform that brings the sector together to acknowledge leadership, innovation and best practices. IEIA is pleased to extend its patronage to the Decennial Edition of EEA and supports initiatives that strengthen the credibility, collaboration and global visibility of India’s exhibition industry.”

Raghav Khosla - Indian Exhibition Industry Association | LinkedIn“As EEA completes a decade of celebrating the heroes of the exhibition industry, having IEIA come on board as Exclusive Patron is both meaningful and significant. The exhibition industry thrives on collaboration and collective progress, and this alignment reflects the shared vision of strengthening credible recognition platforms for the sector.”

Entering the Next Decade with a Refined Framework

As EEA enters its next decade, the platform has undergone significant restructuring to further strengthen its credibility and relevance for the industry.

The awards architecture has been refined with fewer categories and sharper benchmarks, ensuring that recognition is focused on truly impactful achievements across the exhibition ecosystem.

To further reinforce the robustness of the process, JWC, an internationally respected advisory firm specialising in the exhibitions and business events sector, has been appointed as Process Advisors for EEA 2026. Their involvement will help ensure transparency, consistency and adherence to globally aligned evaluation frameworks.

In addition, a distinguished panel of industry leaders and experts will serve as the jury for the awards.

Live Presentation Categories

A unique and defining element of the Exhibition Excellence Awards is the Live Presentation format, where shortlisted nominees present their projects directly before the jury.

These live sessions allow organisers, venues and service partners to showcase the strategy, innovation, operational excellence and measurable impact behind their projects.

The format creates a transparent and engaging evaluation environment while also enabling valuable industry learning and knowledge exchange, making EEA not just an awards platform but a forum for sharing best practices across the sector.

Special Recognition Initiative for Exhibition Services at EEA

The Exhibition Excellence Awards (EEA), in collaboration with India ITME Society, has introduced a special recognition titled “Champion of Change for Exhibition Services.”

This initiative aims to recognise Indian exhibition service partners who are leveraging technology and innovation to enhance the quality, efficiency, and global competitiveness of services delivered to exhibitions.

The award will honour Indian service providers or individuals who have been active in the exhibition industry for at least three years and can demonstrate the effective use of technology to improve service delivery. Applicants must provide documented evidence such as project details, photographs, client acknowledgements, or testimonials supporting their work.

The jury panel for this special recognition will be appointed by India ITME Society, and the award will be presented during the Exhibition Excellence Awards & Summit 2026.

This collaboration between Exhibition Showcase and India ITME Society seeks to encourage technological adoption, attract new talent into exhibition services, and raise the overall standards and professionalism of the Indian exhibition industry.
