India’s rapidly evolving textile and apparel sector is set to take centre stage at Gartex Texprocess India Mumbai 2026, scheduled from 9–11 April 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Incorporating The Denim Show, the exhibition will bring together the entire value chain of garment and apparel manufacturing, offering a comprehensive platform for machinery manufacturers, technology providers, fabric suppliers, textile printers, and accessories manufacturers to connect, collaborate, and explore the latest industry innovations.

India’s textile and apparel industry, valued at approximately USD 179 billion, continues to play a crucial role in the country’s economy, contributing nearly 2% to GDP, around 11% to manufacturing GVA, and over 8% to exports, while supporting the livelihoods of about 45 million people. With strengths across cotton, silk, jute, and manmade textiles, the country has established itself as a globally competitive and diversified textile hub.

The upcoming edition of Gartex Texprocess India Mumbai is expected to feature over 125 participating companies, showcasing more than 300 brands and 500 products. The exhibition will also witness international participation from key textile technology markets such as Italy, Germany, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Exhibits will span a wide range of solutions including garment and textile machinery, digital and textile printing technologies, yarn and knitting machinery, dyeing and finishing equipment, automation and software solutions, as well as fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging, and labelling technologies.

As sustainability and circularity become increasingly important across global textile supply chains, the exhibition will highlight technologies focused on improving resource efficiency, reducing water and energy consumption, enabling recycling, and supporting environmentally responsible production processes. The event will also showcase participation from several prominent Indian and international brands, reflecting the industry’s growing emphasis on innovation and advanced manufacturing.

Adding further value, the event will feature co-located shows such as The Denim Show, supported by the Denim Manufacturers Association, presenting innovations across denim fabrics, washing and finishing technologies, dyes and chemicals, and denim garment machinery. Alongside the exhibition, knowledge-sharing platforms like Gartex Talks and Denim Talks will host industry experts discussing key topics such as AI in apparel manufacturing, digital textile printing, zero-waste production, evolving consumer trends, and the future of garment machinery.

Jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd and MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, Gartex Texprocess India Mumbai 2026 is poised to serve as a significant industry platform, driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and unlocking new business opportunities while supporting the sustainable growth of India’s textile and apparel sector.
