The Delhi Machine Tool & Manufacturing Technology Expo (DMTX) 2025 is all set to open its doors from May 8 to 11 at Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), New Delhi. Now in its fifth edition, the event is poised to play a pivotal role in strengthening India’s industrial and manufacturing ecosystem, particularly in the northern region.

DMTX 2025 arrives at a time when India’s machine tool industry is demonstrating robust growth. In FY 2024, the industry recorded a 10% year-on-year rise in production and an 11% increase in consumption. The positive momentum continues into FY 2025, with the manufacturing PMI consistently remaining above 50, indicating sustained expansion in factory activities across the country.

This year’s expo will host over 208 exhibitors and see participation from 10 countries, covering a sprawling 12,000 square meters of exhibition space. The event is expected to draw more than 13,500 visitors, including key decision-makers, OEMs, component manufacturers, and suppliers from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

With a central theme of “Building a Vibrant Manufacturing Ecosystem”, DMTX 2025 aligns with national priorities such as the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes, Make in India, and the strategic push for import localization. The exhibition will feature high-end machine tools, automation solutions, and manufacturing technologies that cater to sectors including automotive, energy, die and mould, electronics, and semiconductors.

The northern region’s strong industrial base — home to numerous automobile plants, tractor manufacturers, and engineering firms — makes Delhi an ideal host for this flagship event. The presence of major OEMs and a vast network of ancillary units underscores the importance of DMTX in enabling technology adoption and fostering supply chain resilience.

Organizers emphasize that DMTX 2025 is more than just a trade show; it is a strategic platform for collaboration, investment, and innovation. As industries shift toward self-reliance and digital transformation, the expo offers timely insights, partnerships, and technology showcases to drive future-ready manufacturing.

DMTX 2025 is expected to significantly contribute to the evolving narrative of India’s industrial resurgence — and Delhi is ready to lead the way.
