CyberSec India Expo is set to return to Mumbai on April 15–16, 2026, following a strong debut edition. Jointly organised by Media Fusion and Germany’s Heise Medien, the event focuses on addressing digital security, data protection, and cyber resilience through collaboration and cross-sector engagement.

The 2025 edition attracted 3,400+ professionals, 65+ exhibitors, and 16 emerging startups, enabling strategic partnerships and knowledge exchange across India’s cybersecurity ecosystem. Supported by industry players such as 63 SATS Cybertech, ManageEngine, Samay Info Solutions, Seceon, Forcepoint, and Netwrix, the event helped drive critical dialogue and sectoral engagement.

Rising Urgency in India’s Cybersecurity Landscape
India currently ranks second globally in cyberattack volume, and the domestic cybersecurity market is projected to exceed $3.5 billion by the end of 2025 (IDC). Increased enterprise reliance on cloud infrastructure, AI-driven operations, and regulatory mandates is expected to fuel a 16.4% rise in national cybersecurity spending (Gartner).

Despite this growth, the country faces a 40% workforce shortage in cybersecurity (NASSCOM), while security services are seeing a projected annual growth of 19% due to enterprise demand for managed services and compliance solutions.

Focus Areas for 2026 Edition

The 2026 edition of CyberSec India Expo will address key national priorities in the cybersecurity space. The agenda includes strategic discussions on India’s cybersecurity policies and hybrid warfare preparedness, reflecting growing concerns around national security in a hyperconnected era. The event will also cover the evolving role of cyber insurance and emerging regulatory frameworks shaping enterprise risk management. Additionally, there will be a focus on securing smart infrastructure and other critical assets as digital technologies expand across sectors. To address the skill gap in the industry, the expo will feature workforce development initiatives such as expert-led masterclasses, certification tracks, and university-led programs aimed at preparing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

New features include live technology demonstrations, closed-door policy roundtables, and expanded international participation, with early interest from several Fortune 500 companies and key sectors like defence tech, healthtech, and infrastructure security.
