Cosmoprof India, organised by Informa Markets, is set to return to the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from December 4 to 6, 2025. Following the success of its fifth edition, the event reaffirms its position as the largest international B2B beauty exhibition in India, providing a strategic platform for global stakeholders to explore the dynamic Indian beauty market and discover new business opportunities across the entire industry supply chain.

The 2024 edition witnessed remarkable participation, featuring over 355 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions and attracting more than 11,000 industry professionals from 52 countries and territories, further cementing Cosmoprof India’s international reputation. The exhibition covers all facets of the beauty industry: Cosmopack India highlights supply chain excellence—including ingredients, raw materials, machinery, packaging, contract manufacturing, and private label solutions—while Cosmoprof India showcases leading brands offering finished products in perfumery, cosmetics, toiletries, salon, spa, hair, and nail sectors, catering to both retail and professional markets.

Between 2019 and 2024, Cosmoprof India experienced impressive growth, with exhibition space expanding by 90%, exhibitor numbers increasing by 78%, and visitor numbers more than doubling compared to 2022. The event also hosted 9 Country Pavilions, marking a 73% increase over the same period. This sustained expansion reinforces Cosmoprof India’s reputation as a key gateway to the Indian subcontinent for the global beauty community.

India’s Rising Beauty Market

As the world’s fourth-largest economy with a GDP of $3.9 trillion, India is projected to become the third-largest by 2030. The beauty and personal care sector, valued at $24 billion in 2025, is expected to reach $40–45 billion by 2030, ranking it among the fastest-growing markets globally. Factors such as rising disposable incomes, urbanisation, digital adoption, and evolving consumer behaviours are driving this rapid transformation. Skincare (+13% CAGR), makeup (+12%), and fragrances (+10%) are the fastest-growing segments, alongside a strong trend toward premiumisation.

Leveraging this momentum, Cosmoprof India offers a strategic platform for both international players and local brands. The country is emerging not only as a high-potential consumer market but also as a global hub for contract manufacturing, packaging, and sourcing of raw materials and ingredients, underscoring its critical role in the global beauty industry.
