Organised by Busworld, the one-day conclave served as a high-impact platform for discussions on future mobility, electrification, and industry transformation.
The conference featured a comprehensive agenda covering critical themes shaping the sector. Sessions began with discussions on moving beyond diesel, followed by a roundtable with next-generation OEMs and an inauguration and plenary session. Post-lunch discussions focused on bus operators’ perspectives, next-generation coach development, and the importance of safety, standards, and skill development. Highlighting progress, he stated that travel time between Delhi and Dehradun has reduced from 8-9 hours to around two hours due to improved highways. He also informed that 36 green express highways are being developed to promote faster, safer, and environmentally sustainable transport.
The event also witnessed the presence of Shri TG Bharath, Minister of Industries, Commerce and Food Processing, Andhra Pradesh, and Didier Vanderhasselt, reflecting strong government and international participation.
