Ministry of Commerce Launches New Integrated Website for Department of Commerce

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has introduced a modern, integrated website for the Department of Commerce (DoC), aimed at strengthening digital service delivery and improving accessibility for exporters, importers, and other stakeholders. The platform has been developed in compliance with the Digital Brand Identity Manual (DBIM) 3.0 and the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW), ensuring high standards of usability, accessibility, and security.

Alongside the website, a bilingual mobile application-available on Android and iOS-has also been rolled out. The app includes features such as offline access and GPS-enabled services, enabling users to access trade-related information conveniently. Provisions for regular maintenance and upgrades have been incorporated to ensure scalability, security, and continuous improvement.

This initiative supports India’s broader e-Governance vision by enhancing transparency, streamlining processes, and improving the ease of doing business in the foreign trade ecosystem.
