The 12th edition of PLASTINDIA took place from 5–10 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, bringing together the global plastics industry on one of the world’s largest sector-focused exhibition platforms. The event was organised by the Plastindia Foundation with support from key government bodies and industry stakeholders.
Held under the theme “Bharat Next,” the exhibition reflected India’s vision for advanced manufacturing, self-reliance, and sustainable industrial growth. The show highlighted the five strategic pillars of trade, technology, talent, tradition, and tourism, positioning the plastics industry as a critical contributor to the country’s economic development.
PLASTINDIA 2026 stood out for its impressive scale and international participation. The event hosted over 2,000 exhibitors from more than 80 countries, making it one of the largest standalone plastics exhibitions globally. Spread across 20+ exhibition halls, the show was expected to attract over 600,000 visitors over six days, underlining its significance as a major sourcing and networking platform for the plastics value chain.
The exhibition floor showcased innovations across machinery, raw materials, finished products, recycling technologies, and circular-economy solutions. A key highlight was the Zero Waste initiative, where all solid waste generated at the venue was segregated, recycled, or reused, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Dedicated zones for start-ups, young innovators, and sustainable plastic solutions also drew strong interest from visitors and industry professionals.
The inauguration witnessed the presence of senior government representatives and industry leaders, setting the tone for discussions around manufacturing growth, technology adoption, and circular economy practices.
With strong global participation, technology showcases, and sustainability-focused initiatives, PLASTINDIA 2026 once again demonstrated its stature as a flagship platform for the plastics industry, fostering innovation, investment, and international collaboration.
