38th Garment Technology Expo (GTE–2025) Concludes Successfully in Gandhinagar

The 38th edition of the Garment Technology Expo (GTE–2025), organized jointly by Garment Technology Expo Pvt. Ltd. and India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML), concluded with remarkable success at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar. Held from 7 to 9 November 2025, the event reaffirmed its position as South Asia’s most comprehensive platform for garment machinery, accessories, and allied services.

The expo was inaugurated in the presence of prominent industry leaders, including Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma (Chairman, IEML), Shri Arpan Shah (Sr. Vice President, GGMA), Dr. Sameer Sood (Director, NIFT), Shri KL Ramesh (Chairman, HCSSC), Shri Tushar Kuvadiya (President, Setja), and other dignitaries. Speakers emphasized India’s growing global competitiveness, the importance of adopting advanced technologies, and the garment sector’s critical role in achieving the nation’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.

Showcasing innovations from 20+ countries, GTE–2025 featured cutting-edge garment sewing machines, embroidery solutions, digital textile printing, CAD/CAM systems, automation technologies, testing equipment, and spare parts. With 225+ brands spread across 50,000 sq. ft., the expo delivered high-volume business interactions, live demonstrations, and a surge in buyer-seller inquiries. The event welcomed more than 9,700 business visitors, including exporters, garment manufacturers, procurement teams, buying houses, and MSMEs.

Supported by the Ministry of Textiles (Government of India) and approved by MSME (Government of India), the expo once again proved to be a vital catalyst for industry growth, innovation, and collaboration. Media coverage across leading publications and extensive digital engagement further amplified its impact.

Organizers announced that the next annual mega edition, GTE–2026, will take place from 20 to 23 March 2026 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, followed by the regional edition in Bangalore (September 2026). Both editions will continue to feature the co-located Lace & Trims Show, adding further value to the apparel manufacturing supply chain.
