44th India International Trade Fair Opens at Bharat Mandapam Today

The 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) opened today at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, marking the start of one of India’s largest multi – sector trade exhibitions. Inaugurated by Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, this year’s fair is themed “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat.”

Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Bihar are the Partner States, while Jharkhand is the Focus State. Twelve countries, including the UAE, China, Iran, South Korea, and Egypt, are showcasing a wide range of products and technologies, reinforcing IITF’s growing global participation.

The fair runs from November 14-27, with the first five days (Nov 14-18) reserved exclusively for B2B engagement, followed by public days (Nov 19-27). Exhibitions span multiple halls featuring state pavilions, foreign country pavilions, central ministries, MSMEs, start-ups, electronics, processed food, handicrafts, home décor, beauty, jewellery, textiles, and consumer durables.

Enhanced security measures, medical aid booths, and ambulance services have been set up for visitor safety. Entry is allowed through Gates 3 & 4 (Bhairon Road) and Gates 6 & 10 (Mathura Road). The fair is open from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, with visitor entry permitted until 5:30 pm.

Tickets are priced at ₹500 on business days, ₹80 (adults) and ₹40 (children) on normal days, and ₹150 (adults) and ₹60 (children) on weekends. Entry is free for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Tickets can be purchased via the ITPO website, Delhi Metro stations, and the Saarthi app.

With strong domestic and international participation, IITF 2025 is set to attract high footfall and deliver impactful business and consumer engagement.
